Ceiling Lightboxes
A ceiling lightbox is a lighting fixture that fits into or onto the ceiling. They can be used as a luminaire or to provide decorative illumination across large areas. Ceiling Lightboxes have many customisable options including bespoke sizing and shapes, maintenance access hatches, various suspension or fixing methods, and finishes customised to individual project requirements. The system supports advanced lighting options including full dimming, high colour-rendering, colour-tuneable or colour-changeable LEDs, DALI compatibility and PIR sensors. These Lightboxes incorporate fire-retardant backing panels.

Fabric Faced Lightboxes
Our fabric faced lightboxes combine sleek aluminium frames with flexible fabric graphics. Each lightbox can be tailored in size, shape, illumination type, and mounting method to suit specific project needs. The modular sections allow for easy on-site assembly, while printed graphics can be quickly updated to reflect new branding or seasonal campaigns. Engineered with tested components, these lightboxes use environmentally friendly technologies and materials. These lightboxes are known as “Ledge” here at Unibox.

The store’s display architecture is built on Lab-35, our precision-engineered modular system. It delivers the strength and flexibility required for adaptable merchandising, giving Shackleton’s team the freedom to evolve their layout as collections change.
Every component of Lab-35 has been designed with meticulous attention to detail — from the precision of each joint and connection to the refined finishes that elevate the system beyond a purely functional framework. For this project, we developed a bespoke two-tone wood finish, combining contrasting grains and colours to bring warmth and material depth to the displays.
The result is a system that balances technical performance with a crafted, tactile aesthetic that complements Shackleton’s commitment to quality and exploration.

Aluminium is at the heart of everything we do. We stock approximately 65 tonnes of aluminium (that’s 54,000 metres!), and 65 unique profiles which are cut, punched, rolled, and lasered here in Manchester by our manufacturing team.
Over 30 years, we’ve continuously invested in machinery, technology, and client-driven profiles allowing us to expand our aluminium expertise and push the boundaries of what’s possible. Our facilities enable us to deliver both large-scale production runs and highly bespoke solutions. We are one of only a few UK manufacturers with the ability to roll aluminium to radii between X and X, a capability that truly sets us apart.
